13 inch tyre size

hi everybody i have just got myself a 1965 minor the tyres on it are shot. i have a spare set of mg midget rims .can anyone please tell me what is the best size tyre to use.

Rostyles or the standard 13x3.5J??
Rostyles are slightly wider and you can get away with a 165 or 155 (probably a 65 or 70 tyre), the midget wheels that look like minor ones you are looking at 145s...

But 13" wheels - especially with low profile tyres - tend to look a bit 'lost' in the Minor wheelarches - and will also drop the gearing slightly.

I've got 165/70 on my early Rostyle 13" rims. I wouldn't want to go any wider really!
I've also got a leaky one and one with a tube fitted, thanks to another quality local supplier...
