I've decided to go for a new wiring harness, any recommendations or do you think the quality will be the same wherever? Any shortcomings noted from those that have bought in the past?

If you go the normal surrlier route then make sure you quote the right model, lighting spec etc. My 62 2door came right on the second attempt.
