Joined the boards today but joined the club last week. Looking to buy my first Minor, always loved the noise they make since I was a child. Love classic cars as they have a personality even though I work in the trade with new cars for a living. Guys I work with cannot fathom my love of classics let alone the Minor
Looking forward to getting to know some of you and finding the elusive car which fits my requirements. Have posted what I want under the wanted forum.
I think a Minor is a good choice - you cant get a better 'practical' classic imo.
And, they're un-killable so when your mates have trouble starting in the cold months or an ECU randomly flips its knockers up you can drive past smiling.
welcome to the world of moggies i have been a member of the club for 2 years and i have a lot of fun and have learnt a lot about maintaining my car on here, there is a mountain of good advice, and some friendly banter as well
Thats because their the only cars in the world that make you smile.
They will also make you Cry,swear, bleed and shout at the gods of your choice.
But it only takes one perfect summer evening on a clear country road and all the rest is forgotten
Welcome aboard.
