Hi Guys,
Can anyone tell me how to remove the Ignition warning lamp body from the Dash? I've found out about the resistance wire wrapped around the bottom of the body - oh well, at least I only have to wind it back on .

Why?: I'm slowly prep-ing for paint. Just got to sand all that horrible Jamaican Lime off .

There is a horseshoe shaped clip on the underside that has to be removed to enable you to removed the washer and spring. I can take a picture of one out of the car if that helps, but you will have to e-mail me and i will send a photo that way!

Thanks for that. I won't bother you with the photo, I think that knowing there's a cir clip hiding under the washer should be enough.
