HI is it possible to fit an Atlas diff to a standard Morris axle? and upgrade the halfshafts? Thanks

I have no idea Frank - but I would say it's highly unlikely ! Of course anything is possible - but much easier to use that complete axle and fabricate the necessary mounts - and a special propshaft to connect.

Frank,

As BMC says, anything is possible, but grafting a Ford diff into the A-Series casing is a bit on the 'difficult' side - has anyone done it?

What are you wanting to do? Do you need a stronger axle, different ratio etc.?

Upgraded A-Series axle half shafts are available either as a 'toughened' standard pattern, or a really bullet proof version from Peter May (they are expensive at around £150 each).
