Having just rewired the car (everything working!

) I have just fused every circuit individually. On the permenant live side of the fusebox there were 2 purple wires, one does the horn, what does the other do?

According to the wiring diagrams I have it's for the interior light & switch ( when fitted ) Now I've looked again at the diagram it is fused but not switched by the ignition Rob

Purple is fused -and is for anything you want to run with ignition off. Just why it's used for the horn - which must NOT be used when the vehicle is stationary - is a mystery!!

I know BMC, I wondered what the purple wire was other than the horn ;)
