Main Morris Minor Dealers in Wales in 1968

Hi I have just fulfilled a long dream and purchased my very first Morris Minor. I am trying to establish the name of the main dealer who originally supplied the car from new in wales. Does anyone know if such a list of Morris dealers exist for the year 1968 ?. Many Thanks Melvyn

For those who have not been its bigger enough to have more than 1 Morris dealership...................so missrhianne more info needed

I can't help you with dealerships in Wales as im in Malta, wasn't difficult with Malta as we can have only 1 in such a small island

Whoops Sorry, The original Log Book shows the first owner was a Mr Thomas Evans of Hafod Y Gan. Pentre Lane, Ruddlan ( Is this Spelling correct ? ) Rhyl. Just wondered if there had been a main dealer in this area who may have supplied Mr Evans with the car. I am trying to put together some history on my car and would love to establish some info on the dealer supplying the car. Thanks.

Wrong end of Wales, but "City Motors" (City Motor Factors?) were in Cardiff. If you get a production trace from British Motor Industry Heritage Trust it should show the name of the dealer to whom the car was supplied.

Simmitc................City Motor Co is what you ar ereffereing to on City Road in cardiff (used to be located at Morris house!
missrhianne................Rhyl, I have one main dealers listed at Grosvenor Motors (North Wales) Ltd, Bodfor Sreet, with service at Westbourne Ave. there was a BMC agent (parts) at Gittins Garage Rhuddlan, & DE Jones Garage. So I would plump for teh first one
