I have to be careful, but I'd like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy Christmas and hope the truth of the Jesus story is not lost to us all amid the commercialism. :lol:

Totally agree Roger, my wife is on the PCC, so we will be in church too on Christmas day

How refreshing to read this thread. I can feel the goodwill oozing from the screen :D . Last week we went to the "Thursford Christmas spectacular" A great show that combines good entertainment, traction engines, and a reminder of what we should be celebrating. Highly recommended. Keep The Light shining bright. As Dave Allen used to say: "May your God go with you".

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas :D Dad and I went to the Thursford Christmas show as well, in early December, had a great time! Maybe we should do a messageboard trip there another year....

Fantastic place, went up there in 2005 for the Norfolk Rally. lots to see and the organ recitals really adds to the atmosphere. The organ emerges from below like they used to do in the old cinemas!
