As there are a few Austin badged Vans around and I know there are some on here who have A35`s I thought I would pass this info on.

A new Austin website is now launched at http://www.austinmemories.com/

The site will be dedicated to the Austin Motor Company as a way of keeping the name alive and showing the diversity of products made at Longbridge. Your memories will be a key part of the site, so I am looking for material from anyone who had connections with the company, has a Austin vehicle now or perhaps owned one in the past.

Whatever memories you have, I would love to hear from you to help keep the heritage of Austin alive.

Thanks in advance

John

Just visited the site Kevin and sent John a nice photo of an Austin tractor for his section on them, to which he replied with a nice e-mail, interesting site
BTW, is John a mate of yours ?

No Mal he's not, but he just emailed me a link to the site and asked if I knew anyone who was interested to let them know, so I posted it up here.
I suppose I must have met him at some time perhaps and being the Herts Branch contact I may have met him at an event (sorry if you see this John but I dont remember as I have an iffy memory) or may have bought bits of him through ebay, in reality I could have met John anywhere but he seems a really nice guy.

I have an iffy memory
That means you're getting older Kevin   I have the same problem during the show season with people coming up to me and saying hello Mal... I look at the daughter and ask if she knows who it is  aint it awful when you get to 27 + VAT
Anyway Kevin, thanks for publishing the link to the site, I'm going to send John some photo's of my A35 after Christmas.
