Spacers are available (I think there was a thread on this recently?) that mount to the Minor hubs with the nuts sunken into the spacer - and studs are fitted in the spacer at the correct pitch for Metric wheels. Don't fancy it myself - but the TR7 folks in USA use the same idea to allow them to use 'domestic' wheels and tires on their cars.

I've never heard of that before, I know all sorts of bods use spaces to, well, space! But not to alter the PCD - that's what you are saying bmc?

These were common a few years ago to swap from Minor to Ital/Ford.
Often poor quality castings which tended to sacrifice the alloy under the wheel nut and crack resulting in a few 3 or 2 wheeled Minors. Bad idea in my opinion, but you pay's yer money.... so to speak. :o :-?

These will overload the wheel bearings as well.
