Hi all, was looking through some parts to replace in the pedal area, OK I decided to bring a new clutch pedal/shaft as it's quite worn! but no new brake pedals exist mine is not that worn apparently but what exactly do I need to look for, what signs of wear? and if there are what can be done to fix this? Thanks

There's two bushes in the brake pedal and two more in the chassis leg that you can replace.

I had a fair amount of side to side movement on my pedal so I changed the two bronze bushes in the brake pedal and this improved things. However the shaft (that is attached to the clutch pedal) was quite worn. There was some evidence of someone previously building it up with weld and then grinding it down to the right profile. I guess this is the only way if the pedal (clutch) is not available?

I too recently fitted an exchange pedal which included the shaft and bushes and it is a very worthwhile excercise. It is useful to drill a hole in the pedal boss so that EP oil can easily be injected periodically.

Has anyone got an exploded view of the pedal assembly please?

It's in my workshop manual Frank - and I can't get the $%£" scanner to accept it!! I'll keep trying.
