Careful! I got a slap for endorsing a trader on this forum.

It's OK to recommend traders as long as you're not a moderator and you don't stand to gain any financial reward from doing so.

Hi, I have used GS Jones a few times and what I got was ok but there stock is limited. But they have special offers and you can get some good bargains.

Bull Motiff - (really happy with thier goods & service) when need quite a few things to make it worth the postage.
Ebay for odds & sods, few good sellers on there and reasonable prices too but really handy for odd small things where your not stuck with a whopping minimum postage charge like with some of the usual dealers.

I like to spread my purchasing power around a bit. I've used ESM, Bull Motif, Minor Centre Birmingham, and Charlie Wares in Bristol, plus ebay.
Haven't had a problem with any except for a batch of faulty exhausts from one supplier, who to their credit sent me replacements FOC and eventually gave me all my money back.

Some years ago I bought a recon rocker shaft from MGM Spares & I had hardened valve seats put in by Houghton Garage in Leicestershire.

Haven't used GS Jones or DSN yet.

cheers,
Neil

I go to ESM and Bull Motif and they've both been brilliant.
For some parts I go to my local independant brake specialist, they're cheaper for small orders as there's no postage!

ESM and Bull Motif both great. Have bought stuff from Tom Roy at his trade stand, a tad expensive though. Also Livingston Autoparts my local motor factor, can source quite a few Moggy spares, and they are a great bunch of guys.

I've used ESM and Bull Motif. Both have extensive stocks, excellent advice and free postage on orders over £60 online! :D

Except for certain postcodes :-( Got to be said though that in my experience BM go out of thier way to keep the postage to cost - whereas ESM have stuck to the highland / island surcharge on a quote even with £100 worth of light small stuff.
Thats why in this case BM won a long term customer & ESM lost one. Taint rocket science :-)
