Hi all I'm a newbie here and I have read the thread about the oil pressure light coming on but I hope you can help me. My light comes on when it is warm/hot .Should I change the pressure spring? if so can I get one complete with the nut/housing or should I just get the spring. I can see where it goes so I should be able to do this job.
Thanks
Steve

You could do with an oil pressure gauge to find out whether the pressure really is low or if it's the sensor at fault. If the sensor is OK then you shouldn't run the engine without finding and fixing the cause or it could seize up and destroy itself...

Fitting is pretty easy. You need a pipe, a T piece, and an adapter. As for the gauge itself, if you buy one new then they're not very cheap (about £60) but you can pick second hand ones up on eBay like this one quite a bit cheaper, or you could try posting a wanted ad on here.
