[duplicate post] Stolen Car

I received this at Minor Monthly from one of our readers and offered to put it on the site, apparently she tried but couldn't do it. I have a picture as well and will try and get that up asap.

The car below was stolen in London November 20 2007 - If you see a car like this or suspect that you have received it for sale or for work, immediately call KENSINGTON POLICE on 020 8246 9256 regarding crime reference number 562-45-8207.



Make: Morris Minor, soft top convertible, split windscreen

Colour: Black with thin red racing stripe, beige fabric roof.

Year: 1956

Vehicle ID number: FCA114092008

Original Registration: ESJ 447

Distinguishing marks: small dent below headlamp, driver’s side; decal on rear window `Canterbury Convertibles’; broken latch on back seat opening to boot.

Hi - I don't understand why dvla would say it's off the road? I bought it in 2001, took it with me to the States in March 2004 and brought it back with me in June 2005 and re-registered with DVLA?

Hi YvetteMarie,

Maybe just a paperwork glitch on the DVLA part.
I had something very similar - DVLA reported the car as unlicenced while all the time I had the disc in the window (a legitimate one).

If you have the paperwork to hand give them a ring to sort it out - they're usually helpful
