MOT Tests for moggie vans?

Hi
Just got my reminder for my tax renewal and it says at the bottom I need a 'Goods vehicle test certificate' is that right? or have the DVLA got there wires crossed somewhere, if they have anybody have any good contacts for getting it sorted?

You just need the test cert for the van, its the same test as a car one

Thats what I thought but in the place where it usually says 'A valid test certificate' it definatley states 'A goods vehicle test certificate' which is a different and dearer test.

Have you tried contacting them on line as you can renew your tax on line as it looks like they have dropped of somewhere.

If your vehicle is registered as a Goods Vehicle - that's what it will need! Maybe need to revised the reg details - should be 'Historic Vehicle'.

Sucessfully taxed my van on line just now, I await my tax disc in the next five working days, I,m sure they only do it because it hurts them to do something for free!! Update tax arrived two days after application I take it back its a great institution, NOT.
