Totally off topic in the extreme.

I just thought I'd share some unbelievable news relating to my everyday car - a Fiat Stilo Multiwagon 1600 (2004) - whose gearbox just died after 45000 miles. I just can't believe it

Apparantly this is a relatively common problem too. Has anyone ever heard of successful complaints against them ?

I've had several Puntos - all driven hard - and all absolutely deadly reliable.
