Door Handles

Are the chrome door handle pulls supposed to spring back into place? Mine flap about in the wind, as it were

Mines flap about someties but if I push them back in they stay put.

If they flap about, then the spring has broken that holds them in place. They are not expensive to replace but can be really tricky, after you have removed the handle assembly from the door, you have to put the spring under tension as you fit it. It takes a few goes and a bit of swearing, but it can be done!!

Doesn't sound like it!! Sounds like the sort of job that grows other jobs.
The chrome's not great on the handles anyway so perhaps I'll keep looking on e-bay for a replacement set.

I just got irritated with mine flapping about in the wind, but if you don't mind it doing that, then leave it.

My Traveller's door handles are a bit "floppy" but considering the work involved to remove them and replace pins and springs they're going to stay that way until I can either work up the enthusiasm or they fall off.
