Expensive night out that's for sure :o I wonder what the £15 surcharge was for, Gin & Tonics for the Judge at lunch time? :D

yes, but in a "reckless" manner - in English law the reckless element is getting drunk -not necessarily the actual action. Ohterwise you would a hard time proving intention .... (possible different in Scotland)
I wonder what the £15 surcharge was for
It's a additional charge for "victim support" - apparently added this year by the Home Secretary to all fines imposed. It's supplemantal because the fine itself has to take into account the means of the convict. It was brought in by legislation a few years ago, but only implemented this year ...

i am pleased he got finned for dammaging someones car.there should be more of this might teach people some respect.
