Hi, I recently saw this on ebay advertised as Morris Minor disc brakes for wire wheels.
I've found suppliers for the "stub axles" (MG Midget wheel conversion) does anyone know what sort of disks these are/what they came from?
anyone with any information or oppinions about wire wheels on a Minor?

Hello Chadbrook,
I would guess that the discs and calipers are also Midget, as Midget hubs fit straight onto the Minor stub axle.
If you have never had wire wheels, be warned taht they are a pain to keep clean. They look nice but are high maintenance

To be honest - wire wheels are a real pain, and just don't look right on a Minor ! Leave them where they belong - on ancient MGs.

If you do fit wire wheels, keep all of your old toothbrushes, you will need them. Wire wheels are a total pain to keep clean. Plus if you hit a decent pot hole, be prepaired for spoke replacement/adjustment.
