Has anyone fitted one of these as I am thinking of it to go with a 1275cc engine and it appears there are 2 different types ie: as fitted to the Ital with the canister air filter, and the MG metro with the doughnut style filter (aparently the Maestro is similar) Is the MG one easier to fit as the filter has appears to have more clearance which I believe the Ital one does not have. I do not want to use a K & N filter unit if possible due to the increased induction roar. Any other suggestions welcomed

The Maestro carb is actually fitted backwards and has a really perculiar manifold. This means that the linkages are the wrong way around, so if you are using the Maestro carb (like I did) then you will have to change the linkages to a more conventional type.

Either of the air filters should fit, it just depends on which you prefer the look of (Ital type for me I think!!).
