Hi
I have just found this.....Wondered if there will be a list of activities happening all over the UK for this 60th Birthday....?
Have you dated a Morris or perhaps even married one? Is there a Morris in your office or does a Morris drink in your local pub? Have your defied popular trends of the last 40 years and called your baby Morris? Do you chat to someone on the internet called Morris or have friends or relatives abroad called Morris or international derivatives of Morris - perhaps like Maurice?
If so, we would love to hear from you. The English Riviera Tourist Board are organising an International Morris Day on Saturday 19 April 2008. We would like to gather together the largest collection of Morris's ever as part of the celebrations, making it the perfect opportunity to meet other people from around the world who share your name.
For those people not called Morris, there will also be lots of other things to enjoy on this day of traditional entertainment, including craft markets, folk music, Morris Dancing and a Morris Minor Rally to celebrate the 60th birthday of this British institution.
