I've just received some rear shackle bushes from ESM - 8 red and 4 blue. Does anyone know which go where? They're about the same length though red ones have thicker lips (!)

I'd have to guess just from the numbers that the blue ones go at the front of the spring and the red ones at the rear. Mine are all blue. I thought the red ones were a harder compound - maybe the thinking is that you've got the resilience of two red ones for the rear shackle?

Don't forget the white grease when fitting them to prevent squeaking.

The 8 Red ones go on the shackle plate pins, the 4 Blue ones to the front of the spring hanger pins.

Well I did ask ESM of course and interesting to see the different responses here. ESM said red ones go on the springs, blue ones on the bodywork BUT blue ones seem too loose in the bodywork so will do as Moggytech suggests and use the blue for the front springhanger pins.. Tell you what though it's exciting to get the back axle on - glad to report that all the rear chassis and spring hanger welding seems to have ended up in perfect alignment. What a relief.
