My grandad had a Morris Minor for years and years and it would be nice to know if it was still on the road. It was a 2 door saloon, dark green , Reg LPX 94 D. Many Thanks.

DVLA shows it currently last due for a licence in 1989, not currently shown as SORN, so the chances are it is no longer on the road or being worked on by anyone.
The vehicle details for LPX 94D are:
Date of Liability 01 03 1989
Date of First Registration 01 05 1966
Year of Manufacture Not Available
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1098CC
CO2 Emissions Not Available
Fuel Type Petrol
Export Marker Not Applicable
Vehicle Status Unlicensed
Vehicle Colour GREEN
Vehicle Type Approval null

IF it has been off the road before SORN came into action it doesn't need to be sorned.
I got away without a fine

Well, o.k., but that would make it a very long restoration job...

true. But I am sure there are still many "projects" lurking about in garages/sheds since the 60s 70s 80s and 90s

I have heard storeys of projects starting before sorn started and when they were, finished DVLA tried to issue Q plates on them.
