A bit of Moggy poetry

Sat down for an hour earlier in the Sun and wrote this, enjoy!!

In the shed 'till 12 at night
Sorting the tappets, what a fight
Sparks, flying off in all directions
Did I make those timing corrections?

Underneath there's mud and rot
What's beneath all this grot?
Carbs, cams and manifold's a'changing,
I'm sure my top speed isn’t gaining!

Fuel needle pointing at the speedo
Paper boy still passes me on his Velo
Stir the gearstick, back to second
80 in fourth my granddad reckoned

Pull back the roof, sun's a shining
The clock's wrong, and the dynamo's whining
Rain pours down, feet get soggy
But still this site, recommends a Moggy!
