I just switch it off altogether! Certainly wanted to switch it off 3/4 of the way through the GP this morning

but it wasn't a bad race for some.
[moody old git warning...]
What next ? celebrity doing the washing up and hoovering the lounge?
before or after they've cooked dinner?
I'm not sure which is worse! Random members of the public showing that they can or can't cook, or the 'celebrity' versions.
If I want to see someone else's food on a plate, I'd go out to a half decent restaurant to eat ;-). I certainly can't see any enjoyment watching 'food critics' waffling on for 30 minutes before they get their free meal.
And no! I would't want Gordon handle my food or IT either.

Sick of TV in general due to frequency of adverts, which are bad enough on their own, but now we get the following
1: 5 mins of the program you want to watch
2: Commercial break started by 'Sponsored by nonsense'
3: Umpteen Insurance/Finance adverts
4: Channel ads of what is going to be on that channel next week
5: Same sponsored by cac again
6: Return to program and you have forgotten what the hell it was about
OK so the BBC is advert free, but very little worth watching on BBC IMHO
I'm just glad my cable TV is free as part of a Phone/Broadband package
As for celeb programs in general, gimme a break. Bunch of overpaid whining morons.

Sick of TV?
Chance would be a fine thing.
I've just finished my loft conversion and started tiling my kitchen and bathroom floor.
Both floors needed work on the floorboards then another complete wood floor laying on top.. then there was all the hassle cutting the tiles..etc... grouting..rehanging doors, cutting down under-kitchen plinths... the list goes on and on and on...
All part of the wifes cunning plan to work me to death, end up with a nice house and claim on the insurance I think!
