How hard is it to replace the rubber sealing strip that goes between the rear roof and front roof sections on a Traveller?
Is it something that can be done with everything in place, or only when the rear roof section is originally put on?
I think my seal isn't sealing very well any more.

you have to remove the fillet strip peel back the headling both sides carefully just enough to get a spanner both sides in
11mm if i rem rightly
there are 6 bolts i think that crimp on the roof and a piece of wood.
take these out completely its easier if you do but they can just be loosened off.
u might need to remove the interior light can't rem
once all is undone the rubber sholud just pull off and then you can put new one in
very easy i used a tiny screwdriver carfully to help the rubber in but it took 1/2 hour to do
the only prob u might get is getting a spanner onto the bolts as sometimes the wood is in the way
what i did was just knock a bit out as its only ply just enough to get a spanner onto it and bob's your uncle sorted
it is easy to do and yes you can do it without everything coming off just be careful of the headlining tho they tear very easily
