At 16:38 GMT Albert started, engaged gear and drove me 200yds down the road and back. :D :D :D :D
I'm so pleased I was successful in replacing the engine clutch, gearbox and final drive correctly. I was sure the clutch was going to be iffy.
There's a bit of fettling of electrical items to do. Particularly adding rear indicators and checking of all consumers.
The hood needs tightening and trimming.
Carpets and front seats adding.
Then he'll be ready for the small matter of re-registering, insuring and MOT.

So we'll see you at the web rally then Pete ;) It's a wonderful feeling though isn't it? Knowing it's nearly done because of all your hard graft. I love getting near the end of a project. Well done :D

Well done Pete :)

Now lets see if Emilia or Albert makes it to a SADMOG 1st.... (I still need to do a lot of welding inside and a bit of painting then the interior putting back in and the engine needs setting up correctly)

Well, 'A' gearstick. Don't know what it's from but it's got a bend in it and the drivers seat gets in the way of some of the gears. :o
