Dear SADMOG's (and anyone else who may be in the area and would like to join us)

The Pub has been chosen:

The data and time have been set:

- Sunday December 2nd 2007 12 Midday

All we need now is your commitment to attend......

I need to confirm numbers with the pub ASAP and need a deposit of 5 pounds per head in due course. Remember the whole family are welcome and the pubs normal menu for children will also be available if necessary.

The menu:
at 17-95 a head with a reduction if the children end up choosing from their normal menu

Starters:
- Honey Roasted Parsnip Soup
- Garlic Mushroom Bruschetta
- Prawn and Pepper Cocktail
- Duck and Orange Pate

Mains:
- Roast Turkey
- Slow Roast Lamb
- Grilled 8oz Rump Steak
- Baked Goats Cheese Tart
- Baked Salmon Fillet

Puddings:
- Traditional Christmas Pudding
- Chunky Fresh Fruit Salad
- Double Chocolate Torte
- Cheese and Biscuits

followed by Coffee and Mince Pies


If you can attend please let me know now via this thread or a PM, and I'll need to collect deposits and menu choices soon after.

If you are local to the area, reading this thread and never been to a SADMOG pub evening, well now is your chance to join us and our families on this social event. You would be made more then welcome, please feel free to leave a note on this thread or send me a private message.

Do we need to take our pick from the menu now? Or can we decide on the day?

Sorry, but the WPR's won't be able to make this one!

Come on folks I need to confirm at least the numbers with the pub ASAP or we will lose the booking...... deposit and menu choice will need to follow pretty soon too, otherwise I'll cover a few and extract them from you later.

Remember anyone local (even just local at the time) reading this and has never met us SADMOGs are more than welcome to join us, just add to this thread or message me.

Im hoping to, my wife is off to Bath that afternoon so wouldnt be able to come, I'll ask my elder daughter in the morning if she's interested - I dont think the Empress could contain my 2 yr old!!.

I'm thinking Katie isn't likely to come I will get an answer tomorrow I hope

Well well well...No 1 daughter has agreed to come along!.
So its me and Anna.

The pub has called me to check the booking, so I have let them know that we are 20 people (with possibility to add one or two) and assured them that menu choice and deposits will follow very soon......

So a last chance for people to join the SADMOG Christmas meal, and a big reminder for those coming to choose your food now and get a deposit of 5 pounds per head to me as soon as you can.
