Hi, just looking at an old poster I've got up in my kitchen and it features a series II 4-door minor in smoke blue with maroon interior, the car looks amazing (bearing in mind it's only a drawing) but I've never actually seen one in real life.
According to the restoration manual they only made the minors in this colour for less than a year (late 54 - early 55) so I was just wondering if anybody has one, if not, has anybody even just a got a photo of one?
It didn't last long so obviously wasn't very popular but personally I think it was the best colour scheme of all.

I agree with you.
One of the first things i did to my Minor was remove the peaks the previous owner had fitted. :D

Reckon theres a less is more equation to all the trim. peaks alone can look nice, so too over riders, but the 2 together with a set of wing mirrors, lamps & sun visor just looks a bit much :o
