Correct Pinstripe Width?

Post by moggiesgalore »

After giving my '59 black convertible a full bare metal repaint I will be applying a new pinstripe. I intend to buy some Finesse tape and paint it on, rather than use a stick on stripe as was applied previously.

Looking at my other ('69) moggie and some doors kicking around I am guessing that the Finesse F10 is about right for width. It's 2.38mm wide.

Does anyone know the exact original width of the pinstripe? I know i'm being picky, but want the car to look exactly as intended!

Cheers

Bill the Judge will know - I'm sure he will be along soon.
