National Again....

My copy of minor matters dropped through the door yesterday, and as i was flicking through it thoughts turned to the national, and i was expecting to see a write up from the committee about events, but alas either i have missed it or it is not there.

Why have we still had no feedback about the national, no aplogies etc etc?

It looks like it's all just been swept under the carpet.

Hi,
The issue has not been swept under the carpet ! I am presenting a report to the MMOC Committee on the 22nd September. Having presented the information a reply to the points raised will be posted as promised. All comments are always welcome, but if you want to discuss pease call the number is in MM if you want to discuss.

I note that in the article we are described as "the web site mob".
Surely some mistake as I found everyone to be well behaved, sociable, tea drinkers and cake eaters. Things got a bit noisy when Roger banged the tea pot into shape without the use of a dolly but we could hardly be described as unruly.

The crowd pictured at Saturday's party (pg. 24) seem to be enjoying themselves. :-? They should have come to the web site area instead. The conversation flowed all night with topics as diverse as Morrissey, Joe Pasquale and clowns and not a cheesey pineapple on a stick in sight.

We'll always be the naughty web people though, however well behaved we are... :D

I must say that Minor matters is far superior to the piddly little booklet i get from the JCC (jowett car club) each month. The MMOC is far better than the JCC, it encopasses all aspects of the minor and all the different factions....young/old/middle aged etc etc...concours/hotrod/standard.
There is none of this on the JCC, indeed most of them dont even know how to use a computer, and the club is failing because of this...spare parts all have to be done by letter/over the phone....technical queries take weeks to be answered and then you get the concours lot and the standard lot arguing.

Much better on here, long live the MMOC!

If the activities of "the web site mob" result in an opening up of the Club to new members both young and old, and also helps all Minor enthusiasts enjoy their cars more, then count me in as a fully paid up member  :D
