Rear Hubs ..

In the Official BMC manual there is a special tool for extracting the rear hub. In the assembled experience is this nessesary or can you use regular hub pullers like this ..

Usually just slides off with a nudge - or you can bolt the wheel back on - and wiggle it off with that as extra leverage - never had to use a puller yet!

I used a two-legged puller like that, the tricky bit was holding something the right size (e.g. a large socket) in the middle for it to pull against. Then again you might also be lucky and find it'll just wiggle off. There was another thread about this only a week or three ago, have a search.

Sounds far too much effort!
I just use a cheap draper hub puller. All you need is a spanner or something to bridge the hole where the shaft comes out of.

ditto cheap puller from Machine Mart fits too.
