If you look in the boot you should find that the seat is held in place with two wing nuts.

Be careful with them as they are often rusted in place unless the previous owner was aware of them and lowered the rear to enable a longer load area to be used

The bottom of the seat sits in channels so once those bolts are out the seat has to be raised about 4" then it can be taken away from the rear bulkhead.

Just make sure you definitely want the seat out before doing it because putting those wingnuts back in the seat is a real pain!

Just get someone in the back, align the bolt holes, then ask them to push the seat back firmly, and fit the wing bolts. Easy
