Lost Login Facility

I have a bookmark set for the messageboard :

http://www.morrisminoroc.co.uk/modules. ... file=index

Which has always taken me straight to the board, bypassing the Ts & Cs (only need to read them if they've changed :) ). Then my username and password would appear in the top left hand box ready to log straight in and use the board. Now that very helpful facility of username and password has disappeared from the top left; meaning that I either "login to check messages" and then have to go back to the board; or I have to go via the Ts & Cs. Either way it's more clicks, time-consuming, and irritating. The old way has worked for a good few years, so can we have it back please - or can someone post another quick and simple way to get into the board. Thanks.

Try go to the forum index page

If not already done log into the board - your browser should remember username & password (if not you can set that in browser options)

make your browser window half screen size for a moment - drag the bull motif logo from the address bar onto your desktop and voila - a one click shortcut to the forum direct from your desktop

I'm pretty sure the logo is an OX... but that's getting off topic. ;-)

The board URL's have changed a little so some older shortcuts don't work now, but these can be replaced with new ones.

Regarding log-ons: I've also had problems to get straight on to the board and it no longer remembers that I'm logged in (so I have to log on every time - which has never happened before)

I'll look into putting the logon box back on the messageboard pages. It was confusing some members trying to logon to the members site,(See other Post) and causing a lot of hassle for Liz in the Derby Office.
It'll be a few days tho, cos I'm off to the Beaulieu Auto Jumble (see you on the Club stand) and I need a working car to get there......

I shouldn't mention about skipping the terms and condition pages to often if I were you.........

The Board is only supposed to remember that you're logged on for half an hour. Anything longer means its not working properly!

Can you clarify BP?
Do yo mean you would ideally like to have them displayed as part of the login procedure? thought the idea of T&C was a one off on sign up - that would be enough to put the majority off if had to go through that every time you fancied a peek at whats going on.

The board may work that way - but if youve got your browser set to remember username & password for this site (or any for that matter) then you are not affected when you browse.

Wish i was going to the autojumble :(

Ditto. Although it didn't ask me to log in this morning - maybe it's gone back the way it was.
