one spring hanger in and one inner wing finished!
Welded in the rear spring hanger today, got it in with less than a mm of error, thanks to the little jig i made (in the pictures below). I had to make some nee pieces of floor though as when i started to weld i just kept blowing through!

Ive also fitted the rear door again, and it does shut and stay shut, but ive not got all the bolts done up tight as im not sure how to correctly adjust the doors yet, can someone enlighten me. Also i think the c pillar comes a bit too far out at the bottom, what do you guys think? http://s166.photobucket.com/albums/u118 ... t07002.jpg

Ian,
The Sill finisher goes alongside the C post and butts up against the end, ill wack my old one on a take a pic of how it goes.
Oh and incidently, i repaired the lower part of the A post yesterday, when i cut the old rusty part away, the outer edge had a Square hoop of sheet protruding from it.......i havent made a new one on my repaired pillar...does this loop perform any critical function?
Ill take a pic of the opposite side to show what im on about.
Cheers,
YG

Yes, when I did the drivers door pillar on the Traveller, I didn't know this at the time and left off the little bit of metal, consequently the wing on that side dips in at the bottom a little.
Cheers John - all comments IMHO

Springhanger
Your jig was very helpful - I've put exactly the same onto my moggy. What did you use to hold the springhanger plate in place while you welded?
