Hi, the air filter inlet pipe on the back of my air filter housing has snapped off. Can you still buy the air filter housing? If so where?
Kind regards

It happens to us all! I suspect these will only be available second hand now.

This happened to me a year ago, I could not source the inlet pipe on it's own, or a new filter housing either. I was lucky, and the pipe landed on the engine tie plate and stayed there.
I simply cleaned it up, cut a few slots at the filter end of the pipe, pushed it back in, bent over the cut parts and brazed it back in, from the inside. It aint coming off again either!

Thanks for the tip, I'll give it a go over the weekend.

The inlet pipe was missing when I got my car so I improvised one with a beer can for the winter months to get the warm air until I fitted the Metro carb & filter.
