Bit of a query on dipsticks and dipstick tubes, are they different in 948 and 1098 engines?

I have just received one for a 1098cc engine assuming, stupidly, that they are the same in both engines.

Are they indeed different?

Not sure about the actual dipstick - but yes the 1098 engine has a taper location tube for the stick - helps to stop oil escaping, and also easier to locate on a dark and windy night!
