i have been offered a disc brake conversion set (ford vented type) for my morris it is all complete and in vgc the guy wants £150 does this good ???

yes it sound a good deal i would offer him £125 for the lot if he says no i would still pay him the £150 check with him if the wheels are 4 " pcd mogey or 108 pcd ford the kits are £350 + aprox neil

If it's complete with working calipers and serviceable disks and pads then it's way way way below the price of a new full kit (these vary in price/quality depending on where they originate)

Carrying 2 spares can be a pain - so best option is to have matching PCD front and rear. For a tuned car, a Ford rear axle is a common option so Ford PCD makes sense. For a show car, Minor PCD would normally be the preference to allow standard (or Van) rims.

but if it's a bargain, 2 spares isn't the end of the world!

Unusual (and unnecessary) to have vented discs - they will never get up to working temperature on a Minor. But the price does sound right!

If you have a modified Moggy they can be quite useful.
