hi moggy men, I have just replaced both rear wheel brake cylinders on mungo ( 56 splitscreen ) After doing the final one I forgot to put the brass washer on the threaded thingy that holds the bleed nipple part and makes a seal onto the cylinder body. I never noticed until I gave the brake pedal a few pumps and found a great leak from the cylinder,so I had to take it apart and put the washer back on, anyway what I'm wanting to know is how much fluid does the entire braking system hold because I want to bleed the brakes completely through and replace all the fluid. :(
cheers mongo.

its called a Banjo :D

A litre should be plenty - just redone mine twice and only had 1 & 1/2 L available and that was enough.

Whatever it's currently got in. Don't convert to Silicone unless you're replacing all the rubber seals at the same time.
