Morris Minor Owners Club

Hello you lot. It's been quite a while since I've been on here - but I should be able to put that right now . We're off to France to live at the end of August, I'm not working for the NHS anymore and I'm not doing any union work either. So I should be annoying you on here frequently from September onwards...
I've flogged all the vehicles except the trike (if anybody out there has got a loose £3K or a standard non saloon Mog worth the same you can take it off our hands) and we'll be taking Fifi with us (now all gloriously fixed and shiny after her recent bang with an Audi).
I want to get some bits and pieces before I go and I'm particularly after an external sun visor. Metal preferable but if not fibreglass will do and with all fixings. Can anybody help me?

I think you should have kept the Moggy - and sold the Morry!

Oh - and perhaps once there you could enlighten us on the rules re 'classic' cars in France. I think there is one classification where the car can only be used to travel to and from shows?

I've got various bits of advice on registering classics over there. I'll give you all the MO when I can say it's been successful!

Just out of interest, how did the Morris fair in a one-on-one with an Audi.

I'm always interested in how tough (or not) the Minor is but can't face crashing one to find out.
