A newbie to moggies!

Post by jjcymru »

Im new to all things moggy since purchasing the following :

1963 green morris van ex gpo with the reg - 129 GPO.

does anyone have any history of this van apparently it is no 129 in a run of 200 made in this colour. And according to the seller itself and number one are left in existance.

Im really looking for as much info etc etc on how to get this baby back to her former glory, what did it even look like in its hay day???

Finally, what sort of money are these worth when completed - not that it matters hugely - just provides more incentive to open my wallet in order to bring her back to herself!

thanks,

Jonathan

You need to fill in the 'location' part of your profile so we can see where you are.
If you were up the road from me* I'd love to pop over and have a nosey.

Bull Motif is probably the best place for moggy parts, cheap parts, cheap postage and quick delivery...

Assuming that you have joined the national MMOC, you will get a superb magazine "Minor Matters" every two months in which most of the reputable traders advertise, you'll soon get know which ones offer the best service for you.

Most traders are reasonable on most parts, but not all stock every part (although many parts come from the same manufacturer, regardless of where you buy them) but some can be considered as better than others for certain items.

Other part suppliers you may like to look at include (but not exclusively) the Morris Minor Centre (Birmingham) and East Sussex Minors (ESM).
