What brake shoes?

Anyone know the Ferodo or Halfords code for the rear brake shoes? Or if they're the same as for a more modern car that might be in their book? I thought they were the same as Mini & Metro but no, that's Sprites & Midgets so I've got a spare set for the Sprite now...

I doubt you will get them in hellfrauds - go to Bull Motif.

or eBay !!! happens to be a very good seller of moggy parts on there with an eBay shop who unlike the aforementioned does not seriously damage your wallet on postage if you happen to be out in the sticks.
If you dont see what you want listed fire the guy a mail - incredibly helpful !

I was afraid that would be the response, it's just that I'm going to Halfords to get a new wheel for the push bike anyway. Ah well, mail order it is then.

I went to Halfords to see if they had a screw in side entry cap. After finding it on the computer (they don't have a reference book for caps on the shelf...) they said dealer part only, but they could special order it - For £26!

Next week I'm placing an ESM order for cap, arm and condenser... 12 quid inc p&p...

I've found a guy on ebay who sells moggy parts but he's around the same prices as the suppliers. When you add on his postage he's actually more expensive!

So, make sure you do your sums before you buy anything! Also, try and order lots of parts at once, if you crack £60 you get free delivery with ESM and Bull iirc.

not when you mail him - and do it off ebay - cuts a great deal. ebay overheads are extortionate nowadays to the point my veg seed shop wont be on there much longer, so any seller with a shop has flexibility in price.

Admittedly a bit different for me because when dealing with the major lot i always get stung with the highlands islands and offshore delivery surcharge - which when they are using royal mail or standard parcels is a rip off as it costs them no more - does if they use couriers but thats not the customers fault.

Orkney - can you point us to the Minor parts seller you refer to ? A simple point to eg his offer of rear brake shoes will suffice - no need to recommend if they are good or bad - just point to them please!

Why not go to your local motor factor?
Order in the morning there by tea time
