What is the maximum towing weight of a 1966 Minor convertible?

My ancient handbook says 1344lbs.

which equates to 611kg

600Kg sounds about right the car weighs about 750Kg depending on type. Two thirds would be better, but that would only be 500Kg.

My book says 1,344lb. (609.5Kg).
