Stripping the inside

Ive been spending the past few days "gutting" the inside of the mog. Seats, trim, handbrake etc etc.
Now, before i go and break anything, how do all the control knobs below the speedo come out and the relative wiring? And, how how does the speedo come out?
Even though its ripped, i would like to get the headlining out in one piece! How does this come out?
I think thats enough questions for one day!
Thanks again,
YG

the speedo might just pull out if not there are 2 screws accesible through the clove box just loosen thenm don't take them out a pain to get back in.
the switches i presume are the modern ones and they have a nut at the front that can be undo and remove over the toggle and the switch will come out from the back.
all wires should have spade terminals just pull them off with a wiggle.
(thats wiggling the wire not yourself

)
as for the headlining never took one out only fitted have been told its VERY hard as they tend to rip

Thanks Steve, Ive had a quick look and i see the nuts that hold them on at the front, but dont see how the entire assembly will pull through as the black plastic knobs are too large to go throught the holes, how do these come off?

If your switches are the same as mine, then there is a small hole in the side of the knob. In that hole is a pin. Push the pin in and pull the knob off. mine is a 62 2door.
