best type of wing mirror for a van??

hello chaps, long time no see
when i've restored the van i want to put wing mirrors on it which:
a) are nice looking
b) give way and then spring back if hit by a passing car
and
c) give really good visibility
can anyone recommend any particular types? The "van mirrors" sold by the Minor factors eg ESM give reasonable visibility but are a rather square shape - I'd love to find a more rounded shape!
Ideally it would be great to find some which could be folded in to the side of the wings when the van is parked, to minimise the risk of anyone hitting them.
Are the only practical ones for a van the ones which mount on the wings? or is there a door-mounted type with a loooooong arm which would work with a van?
I'm willing to look at mirrors which aren't standard for Minors
grateful for all suggestions

Save your final choice for the National Juliet you should have a variety to compare and the owners views as well although Russ`s suggestion sounds good.

Cheers.
They don't look very different from the "van" wing mirrors sold by Minor suppliers - a pair of which I already have.
Why can't they be a nice shape rather than edna everage glasses shape?!?!?

You can get long stalked round ones from 'a major supplier'. Not allowed, as a mod, to say where, but it's a firm you know well

What you find juliet is that the haeds and arms are larger than BMC van ones

I got the Transit ones and find visability to be great. Compared to my traveller with round ones which has poor visability, you can't get good visability in a small area far away down the wing, got ot be nice and big. Transit mirrors look silly on cars though, they are a commercial thing.
Anyway, mine don't actually stick out that far, so if anyone was driving that close to hit your wing mirror they would damage your paint? Or is it people walking close your worried about? Even then I would be more worried about my paint finish getting scratched.
