Hi Dave hope you made it as I didnt quite get around to meeting everyone, but as usual we arranged for the good weather, sunny all day and it looks like the attendance was 91 which is a little down on normal but due to the flooding in some areas that may have stopped some attending I hope that all who attended and enjoyed themselves. We also gave out comments forms for any improvements or suggestions that could be made and guess what we only got 1 back so everybody must be happy with our format.
And once again thanks again to all who came along and I hpe you didnt get too sunburnt 8)

Thanks for all you hard work Kevin.
I think I can safely say everyone had an excellent time.

Between you and me (and the whole www) the lady Morris Dancers left me cold - not my cuppa tea.

I had a few teething troubles. The petrol pump packed up on the way and on the way back, it was just a loose contact fixed now. The choke was sticking when I left -had to stop on the A1 and push the jet back up. And one of my headlamps wasn't working when Bill was judging it, but was when I got home, I checked all the connections under the bonnet were sound at the rally so I suspect a loose bulb connector could be the problem.

Yes I think it was the one idea that didnt come off, it was suggested by a committee member and we all thought that it would be different from the Male Morris Dancers we are used to seeing which it certainly was, but it turned out to be quite tame and not the rousing routines we are used to.
Roger you mentioned your mechanical hiccups but forgot to mention your growing trophy cabinet
And Neils duo certainly deserved to win the custom section.
Lou`s scones were very nice and I hope her forthcoming branch competition Chertsey Concours on the 13th August is successful even if none of the rules that Judge has to work with apply
