54 split screen

well i've got the split screen 
nice lttle car my misus loves it
so looks like i'll be keeping this one instead now 
needs a fair bit of work tho.
looks like its an 1275 ital engine recondition and put in with an mg gearbox in 2001 got the receipts for the engine and work
got quite a few receipts etc for it
its purple tho
but a nice purple but it'll need spraying as the roof and boot has really bad crazing all over it.
put some life in the battery the wipers work. ignition light comes on and engine turns but won't start not that i expected it to.
its got electric washers can't figure out how to work them tho lol
disc brakes on the front but can't find a servo anywhere or extra fluid container
got the traficator things on the side but they don't seem to work either think i found the indicator switch its on the right under the dash near the door. but beside that theres something which looks like a plunger but goes upwards and is about 2 to 3" in diameter any ideas
it'll need some welding as i noticed the bumper bracket where it joins the inner arch passenger side is detached and the passenger wing is badly dented but i might be able to beat it out and sort it that way.
the cheese grater grill is bent up a bit but might hopefully straighten
steering wheel is broken the outer plastic has cracked but metal internal ring is intact.
LOVELY interior light grey
good carpets felt and seats doorcards all good no rips but could do with a good clean. brand new inertia seat belts
sunvisore broken plastic has split and is held tog with clips
most of the chrome is ok just pitted.
boot lid doesn't shut or lock properly preb needs adjusting.
got minor wheels so prob used marina discs as they are the same pcd aren't they so i'm after a nice set of 4" pcd wheels alloys etc
haven't had too much time to look underneath yet will keep you informed.
any ideas on the points i've raised would be good and i'll be after a few bits ie sun visors and a decent manual that covers these got the haynes for the 1000 but doesn't really cover this.
will take some pics during the week and post them on yahoo
