Sorry to start in the wrong place if you have a new member area I haven't found it yet.
My first few cars were ex GPO moggie vans, 25 to 30 years ago when I was a
teenager. I spent my early working life as a welder and car mechanic, 'till my late 20's now I fix computers in the employ of the local education authority.
I've been lurking here a while for tips, and perusing the booty on ebay with a general idea of picking up a traveller or maybe a morris 1100 estate or even a kit car to use bobbing around between jobs, I visit 2 or 3 schools a day all in the Bolton area so not too taxing mechanically.
I must say this board has been a fantastic reminder of why I loved my early
moggies, and has given me plenty of help in deciding what will be best to look out for. I'll no doubt be announcing here when I bite the bullet and buy.

It is a cracking site, I've already picked up plenty of tips from members posting their project updates. The fiesta disc conversion is one I've earmarked for future use.dave1949 wrote:welcome bill,

I went to Ewok Park this season, very nice of your fellas to do tickets for a tenner for that game, and we nicked a undeserved point too.
