Thats straight through two years in a row now!
Thats a record for any of my cars.

Another 12 months of tinkering fun - and to think I was looking at Maestros should the worst have happened.

Nothing wrong with Maestro - excellent machine - whole lot better than the dreadful Marina ! And you could have joined the MMOC - that's Maestro & Montego Owners Club. But well done on the Minor MOT.

I was looking at a mint on on ebay, really nice 1275 model in gold.
Sellers gone and *** pulled it though hasnt he! I hate it when folk do that.
I specifically wanted a 1300 Maestro as I wanted to stick to an A series motor and didnt fancy a metro.

Nothing wrong with Maestro - excellent machine
Apart from the one we had many moons ago which used to get puddles in the footwells whenever it rained. The garage had to completely dismantle the bulkhead area to find the problem!

Get over to the Austin Rover forum - Often A series motors going cheap to good homes
Where do you get your MOTs done - Midget's due end of the month and I'd like it tested by someone who knows what they're doing. Nearly had a fail on hazards not working on a Triumph a couple of eyars ago... Cause they don't work, they're not fitted!

Class Bodyworks they're called, just up the road from your 'store'.
Last year the chap to fail it on the sill covers - apparently they weren't welded on properly.
. Much embarrassment when I told him they were supposed to be removable covers.
The guy there now really knows his stuff and even commented that one of my king pin bushes felt a bit worn.
They are strict but fair imo.
Coincidentally they've got a midget in there at the moment as a long term resto project.
