One of the fingerplate parts has come loose from my rear sliding glass, is there a specail adhesive I need to re-fix it.
I have just aquired a replacement drivers side quarter light to replace my broken latch one, but the glass is loose in the rubber and comes out rather easily from the rubber insert any suggestions.

Certainly need a special glue when putting on rear view mirrors to prevent the glass cracking - I wonder if you need the same stuff

I had that problem with the 1/4 light on the old trav kevin. A few dabs of silicon sealant and all was ok....

Yeah, but from memory, that can cause the glass to crack. Something to do with expansion rates :(

you saw it on the telly! - must be true!

How about some tiger seal or that sort of panel sealant? I think they are PU based glues. I know they stick like nobodies business to a blanket.

Well just had a look at Tiger Seal and that looks good for the sliding window catch.
